Scaling Growth Without Compromising the Standard
Growth is not the goal. Sustainable growth is.
As the School of EMS expands into new states throughout 2026, the focus remains on maintaining the Gold Standard while increasing access for both students and employer partners.
In March, that growth translated into higher student volume across labs, increased clinical activity, and expanded operational demand across all departments.
This month, we take a closer look at what it means to scale without lowering expectations and how each part of the system contributes to that outcome.

CHIEF'S CORNER
|
More than education....a message from our COO.
|
 |
"The School of EMS and Camsen Career Institute are well into 2026. Currently, the year looks to be one of significant growth as we expand into a number of new states, looking to help employers and students alike reach their goals. With every new location, our team concentrates on keeping the Gold Standard the Gold Standard.
Like many successful things, the School of EMS focuses on meeting both the needs of our student teams and those of our internal team. This is done by challenging the status quo and communicating our thoughts in a manner that improves our outcomes. It is important for everyone to know that they have a seat at the table, and while their idea may not be immediately approved, it does not go without significant value both today and tomorrow. EMS has been stagnant far too long, and the constant challenge of an ever-evolving healthcare environment, coupled with improved technology, provides us the greatest opportunity to make a difference today. Every team from Admissions/Student Services through Operations/Education/Clinical to Compliance are actively involved in determining what our best course of action is moving today into tomorrow.
The School of EMS is committed to being the change agent of an educational environment, and our mission remains the same: to provide quality education built around the needs of the patients in the communities we serve through effective partnerships and evidence-based practices. It is through these partnerships that we impact those we all serve and hold evidence-based practices accountable. Our student body and employer partners are part of our team, and we are committed to their success."
- TC Howard, COO School of EMS
