Starting your EMS education is simple.
Congratulations you've taken the first step in your journey to becoming a paramedic, EMT, AEMT or EMR. Our dedicated team of admissions experts will help you through the rest of the process. Here is a basic guide of what to expect in that process.
Once your application is submitted, you'll receive an email from our Admissions team. This email will include further instructions on accessing your mySOE student portal. This will be your hub for completing your enrollment process.
Once you have mySOE access, you will be asked to submit your $150 enrollment deposit. This is required and is non-refundable. For self-pay students it will be applied toward your tuition.
Now it's time to upload your important documents. Depending on your program, documentation required may include: government-issued driver's license or ID, your current EMT certification, and required vaccination records.
Every student will schedule a one-on-one meeting with an admissions advisor to review program requirements. This is a great opportunity to answer any questions you may have, and ensure a smooth enrollment experience.
After your admissions advisor meeting, it's time to review and sign your admissions documents. School of EMS makes this process extremely easy as all admissions documents are signed electronically via DocuSign.
After completing your admission requirements, you will be moved to an Accepted Status. From here our student finance team will reach out to finalize your tuition plan. Once your tuition arrangements are complete, you will be a confirmed School of EMS student and are ready to begin your training.
School of EMS partners with students, EMS agencies, fire departments, healthcare organizations, and employers to create flexible tuition solutions that make EMS education more accessible.
