Tuition Payment Options

School of EMS takes pride in working with individuals, EMS agencies, Fire Departments and other industry employers to create payment models that are fair and reasonable.  We have several options available to meet your needs.

Employer Sponsorship

Employers may choose to sponsor a student through an EMR, EMT, or paramedic program. When completing the application, please select the “Employer Pay” option. You will be asked to enter information about the sponsor’s point of contact. This is typically a Fire Chief, EMS Director, Hospital Administrator, or COO.

Once your application has been submitted, you will be asked to upload a letter of intent with the sponsoring organzation’s letter head and signed by a decision maker at the agency.

Employer sponsored paramedic students may be eligible for a discount. Due to state restrictions, Florida students are not eligible for any tuition discounts. 


Payment Plan

Students who are not sponsored by an organization and cannot pay their tuition in full will be asked to apply for the third-party financing option first. If an applicant is either denied funding or does not accept the terms of the approval, qualified applicants may request an internal payment plan option. 

Students who are approved for a payment plan will be asked to pay a 15% down payment and the remaining payments will be spread out over the length of the program. Students will need to provide a valid credit or debit card for recurring payments. Please reference our institutional catalog for more details. 

Qualified applicants may be provided this option during their advising meeting.  



South Dakota students are eligible to apply for funding using US Military benefits.

The School of EMS (through a third-party administrator) can assist in establishing housing stipends in certain states. Please contact with any questions regarding veteran assitance.
